Booking & payments
Who customers book with
Service-only, must pick a person, or any stylist — and industry defaults.
The public booking scheduler can ask visitors for a person—or skip that step and assign staff automatically. Admins choose the mode; NurtureSite also provisions a default based on your business type.
Modes
| Setting value | Label in admin | What visitors see |
|---|---|---|
hidden |
Service only (auto-assign staff) | Choose a service, then a time. No staff step. |
required |
Customer must pick a person | Choose a service, then a staff member, then a time. |
optional |
Any staff or a named person | Choose a service, then Any available or a named person, then a time. |
If only one staff calendar offers the selected service, the staff step is skipped even in required or optional.
Any available
When a visitor picks Any available, the site shows every open start time across your team and assigns the first free calendar (staff sort order). Confirmation still names the assigned person.
Where to change it
