A booking lands on your calendar

A customer picks a stylist and a time on your website, and the appointment lands straight on your calendar. Here's how to set that up.

The scheduling hub

In your site admin, open Scheduling. The hub shows your week: open times customers can book, and the appointments already on the calendar, like Jordan Hale's design consultation on Wednesday. Use the chips to show or hide a person or a service.

Services, prices and deposits

Under Services, each service has a name, a length, how you meet, a price, and an optional deposit. To add one, scroll to the bottom. Spring cleanup, ninety minutes, two hundred and fifty dollars, with a fifty dollar deposit. Tick who offers it, then click Add service.

Staff, hours and who customers book with

Staff and hours lists your team. Each person works your business hours unless you give them custom hours, and offers only the services you tick. At the top, choose who customers book with. Service only assigns a person for them. Customer must pick a person adds a staff step. And any staff or a named person lets them choose, or take whoever's free. Lumen uses that one: any available, or Rowan, Priya or Theo.

Booking emails

Email notifications holds every message customers get, from confirmations and reminders to waitlist offers. Each one opens in the drag and drop designer, with merge tags for the service, the time and the place.

The booking block and your dashboard

Customers book through the Booking scheduler block. Greenline's Book a visit page already has one. Add it to any page from the block list, then publish. And on your NurtureSite dashboard, each site shows its next bookings at a glance, with a button to manage scheduling.

Pro tip and your turn

Pro tip. If only one person offers a service, the staff step is skipped, even when customers must pick a person. Your turn. Add your first service, then book it on your own site to see what your customers see. Next up: manage your appointments day to day.
