The details that rarely change
Your site settings hold the details that rarely change: your logo, your hours, what search engines see, and who can help you run the site.
Branding and identity
In your site admin, open Settings. Each tab covers one part of your site. Branding and Identity holds your logo, your favicon, your site name, and your tagline.
Contact information
Contact Information holds your business hours, address, email, and phone. Start typing your address, and Google Maps fills in the rest, for your map and your search results.
SEO and analytics
SEO and Analytics controls your cookie banner, visitor analytics, and the goals that count as conversions. Further down, paste your Search Console verification, and set the title, description, and share image that search engines and social sites show.
Social media and Google Business Profile
Under Social Media, connect your LinkedIn page, Facebook and Instagram, and your Google Business Profile, instead of pasting links. Claim your Google listing first, then connect it here.
Invite your team
To give someone access, open Users and click Invite User. Enter their email, choose their role, and add a note if you like. They'll get an email to set up their own login.
Pro tip and your turn
Pro tip. Once your site is live, your sitemap, at slash sitemap dot X M L, is built for you, and lists every published page and post. Your turn. Check your hours and address under Contact Information, then connect your Google Business Profile. That's all for now. More videos are on the way, so subscribe to catch the next one.
